5 Minimalist Personal Development Approaches

For me, the key to personal development is empowerment and taking conscious control over my own affairs. In my most recent video, I covered the blocks I overcame in order to manifest the path that I wish to take in my career, spiritual awareness, relationship, health, and mental well-being.

Why It’s Important

Personal development allows me to improve all parts of my life through kindness and compassion. It is the the driving force behind my practice of Mindfulness, Sustainability, Minimalism, and Wellness. I talk more about how this can be the key to success in Minimalism in my Patreon podcast.

Required Skills

  • Self-awareness

    We can develop more self-awareness through the practice of meditation, mindfulness, and other emotional healing tools like The Healing Code. Self-reflection through journal and Shadow Work are also useful tools for developing conscious awareness.

  • Rise above the Level of Consciousness to 200

    A consciousness level below 200 can be the driving force towards change since anger can motivate someone to seek alternatives. But when we remain under 200 in our entire lifetime, we can not bring major positive changes in our lives or our surroundings. Above 200 is where courage, neutrality, willingness, and acceptance can be achieved. You can find a detailed breakdown of the levels here.

  • Focus on the good not the bad

    Law of Attraction is a clear example of how we can manifest good things by simply focusing on the abundance and not the lack of what we want. A positive mentality can shed negative emotions like helplessness and the feeling of not being good enough for success.

  • Identify your needs

    Be intentional with your approach by identify what your spiritual and emotional needs are.

  • Develop personal vision / goals

    Focus on creating a goal that nourishes the mind, body, and spirit.
