My Self-care Routine

1. Forest Bathing

I enjoy connecting with the natural world by appreciating this precious Earth and its resources. I try to breathe deeply and walk mindfully while I enjoy my surrounding. Benefits: Connection with the natural world and the divine being.

2. Earthing

Earthing is the practice of barefoot walking. I have been inspired by Katie Bowman to invite more Nutritious Movement since last year. Feel free to check out Spring Cleaning Your Body. I also wear zero-drop barefoot shoes for alignment. Benefits: Stress release, massage, acupressure, and better circulation.

3. Breathing Techniques

I have experienced more emotional stability and peace after practicing breathing techniques. I tried Holotropic breathing, alternate breathing, and my favorite which is the 4-7-8. It allows me to be more mindful of the present moment and helps me better cope with my anxiety. Benefits: More awareness of the present moment, better focus, and mental clarity.

4. Mindful Learning

Mindful learning is nourishing the mind. Since I don't own physical books, I simply use my ebook reader. Benefits: Nourishes the mind and expands consciousness.

5. Dry Brushing

I feel much more relaxed and at peace after a session. I use a natural plant-based brush to gently brush away from the heart. Benefits: Better circulation, exfoliating, more energy, and stress relief.

6. Liver & Immune Support

I have been learning from the teachings of Medical Medium for a few years and he has opened the path of physical healing for me. I eat a plant-based Vegan diet to nourish my body. I also take supplements like CBD, zinc, and B12 to support myself. Full list of Vegan supplements and holistic remedies. Benefits: Heals pain, achiness, and irritation in body.

7. Yoga

I don't focus too much on the perfection of my form but just breathing into whatever sensations I have. Benefits: Focus, energy, clear mind, flexibility, and release pain.

8. Meditation

I started meditating 5 years ago but I was not able to focus in the beginning. It took me some time to be fully aware of my breath and posture. I do not strive for perfection in my journey even now. Benefits: More awareness, mindfulness, focus, and clarity.

Listen to my guided meditation recording.

9. EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique)

EFT allowed me to explore my negative emotions and it allowed me to embrace my shadows. Feel free to check out Brad Yates’ guided EFT session. Benefits: Heal trauma, illusions, and negative emotions.

10. The Healing Code

I've been committing to The Healing Code for a few years after learning from the teachings of Dr Alex Loyd. I used to not believe in the power of holistic healing and spiritual nourishment but now I completely embrace it. Benefits: Release trauma, remove negative blocks, heal the mind and body.

11. Prayers

I visit the altar and send a lotus flower hand prayer to my mindfulness teacher Thich Nhat Hanh. I do this to connect with the divine being and my divine self. Benefits: Spiritual nourishment, connection with the divine being, and feeling more connected.

12. Affirmations

I recite affirmations daily when I meditate and practice EFT. Benefits: Positive mindset, more awareness, and compassion. I compiled 35+ affirmations for you to try out.
